SEGMENT 1 REQUIREMENTS

In order for your teen to be eligible for Driver Education, he or she must be a minimum age of 14 years and 8 months to register and be ready to complete 26 hours of classroom, 6 hours behind the wheel and 6 hours observation time. The written exam consists of 80 multiple choice questions which each student must pass with a 70% or better.

Upon completion of Segment I, the student will receive a certificate to obtain a Level I License from the Secretary of State.
